The following are options available with some of our tow carts.

OWK   Option Weight Kit  

(170-0002-00)

 

Weight blocks to increase traction on V201 & V404. Provides extra traction for tail heavy helicopters. Much appreciated for winter operations. These blocks are inserted into tow cart cabinet and fit to maintain streamline look.

 

V201: 146 lbs/66 kg

OWC   Option Winter Cables  

(170-0003-00)

 

These winter cables provide extra traction on ice & snow. They are designed to prevent damage to hangar floor while maintaining sufficient grip on ice.

 

Kit includes: 4 cable rings. Each wide traction wheel requires 2 rings

OBK  Option Boosting Kit  

(170-0004-00)

 

This Popular Option allows operators to use the tow cart as a Ground Power Unit (also known GPU or APU) in addition to towing.

 

Kit includes: High quality cables & Safety switch.

 

 For V201 & V404, kit includes basket for cables.

*For smaller tow carts (all but the V500 and V614), we recommend that batteries be purchased locally. This ensures lower freight costs. As well, it allows the use of less expensive WET type batteries. AGM & GEL batteries are the only ones allowed on commercial flights as they are sealed and thus not considered hazardous material. For the V500 and V614 we recommend supplying the batteries are the tow carts are heavy and one wants to unload them on their own power. The V614 also has more challenging wiring for non-initiated.
