Robinson R44 helicopter BearPaws 

For Robinson R44 helicopters only, these BearPaws are compatibles with ice blades for safer take off and landing on icy or slippery surfaces.

They have been approved by Transport Canada (STC SH06-24)

BearPaws make landing on soft terrain much safer. It keeps skids from sinking into ground surface. They make landing on sand and snow more stable.

Robinson 44 pilots can benefit from the use of this device to expand their ground contact possibilities. This device is much appreciated for landing on farmland, hunting & fishing grounds, hotels & restaurants front yards and beaches.

In addition to BearPaws, Helitowcart developed IceBlades as an option to install on the BearPaws. This device can reduce the risk of the helicopter rotating sideways when taking-off from clear ice ground surfaces. Again, a much appreciated device to improve safety conditions. They are heavy duty in design and construction and are made of non corrosion materials.

A great accessory for landing on irregular or soft surfaces. Heavy duty design, longer surface contact  for better support. They are made of corrosion resistant UHMW pad with stainless steel clips. Optional, ice blades for safer take-off and landing on icy surfaces are also made of stainless steel.
